Whether it was post-sports games at the neighborhood spot with your team, or your boss surprising the staff on a Friday with pizza in the break room, or even just the simple comfort it brought having that one place you always ordered from…Pizza is meant to be shared and enjoyed, and because of this, it makes memories and brings people together. 

Stoney Slice, created in 2020 by Kash Hopkinson, takes this sacred concept and wraps it in a giant blunt. No, literally! Weed infused pizza, all made in-house with love and care, good bud, and fresh, classic Italian ingredients. From the infusing and activating, to baking the pizzas, to handing them off (in their fitting sleek black Stoney Slice box), the shop keeps the entire process tight knit to ensure quality across the board. Pizza options include staples like Margherita and Buffalo Chicken, as well as unique bites  like their nutella dessert pizza and four different flavors of stoney wings. 

Having worked at a retail dispensary where he had direct intel on what people wanted and needed from weed, Kash took a special interest in the edibles department.

“There was never an edible experience you could share with people that replicated the same feeling as sharing a joint or a glass of wine,” shares Kash.

Breaking off a piece of chocolate for your friend will always be appreciated, but Kash wished to take that sentiment further. And let’s be real, if the weed is good, you and your friends were probably going to eat anyway. Might as well make a real event out of it! 

I asked Kash how he had the energy to start a business during a pandemic and his response was modest and authentic. He felt a need to serve and heal the community, and the timing was somewhat perfect to give his business an honest go. “It’s been such a learning experience,” Kash shares, humbled by the organic word-of-mouth success Stoney Slice has gained over its first 14 months in business.
